Gardens and Parks

Sometimes it's great just going for a walk in beautiful surroundings. Billund offers a number of opportunities for spending a quiet afternoon in the company of fascinating sculptures or colourful plants.

Landscape sculptures in Tørskind Gravel Pit

The expressive sculptures displayed in this disused gravel pit were created by Denmark's famous sculptor Robert Jacobsen and his apprentice Jean Clareboundt. The sculptures interact magnificently with the light and landscape, making the sculpture park an ideal setting for a walk with a difference.

Billund Sculpture Park

The idea of a sculpture park touches some very basic chords in human nature. The contradictions and contrasts of culture and nature. Humanity and the wild. Civilization and the uncivilized. If it succeeds, it gives us the best of both worlds.
