There's no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate planning. This entire page is therefore devoted to all the fun activities you can do even though it's raining.
Jump in puddles and see who can splash highest. Make sure you get your wellies really dirty!

Go for a walk in the woods and collect things you can use to make postcards or a scrapbook or poster. And spend the whole afternoon with scissors and glue.

Rainbow hunt! How many rainbows can you see when the sun finally comes out? It's said that there's a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow – maybe you can find one!

Get your dad to read a story aloud for you and your mum while you enjoy a bowl of popcorn. If you've forgotten to bring a book, try taking it in turns to add to each other's made-up stories.

Children miss playing with mum and dad.

According to a recent survey, it is a myth that children prefer computer games to playing outside. It's the parents who can't be bothered. The survey showed that more than 40% of Danish 5 to 15-year-olds miss playing outside with their mums and dads. So they stay indoors and play on the computer instead.
